AUSTIN / IH35 CORRIDOR
MY SEVEN DAY WEATHER THOUGHTS
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
A stable and dry summer weather pattern continues to be in place
across our area as high pressure in the upper atmosphere persists
which creates a “lid” which limits upward motion in our atmosphere.
This means no precipitation for the next seven days.
This “lid,” as well, traps surface heat and, as a result, slightly higher afternoon
temperatures combined with low level moisture will continue to result in
elevated heat stress and web bulb globe temperature values over the next
seven days. As usual this time of year, please remain hydrated and don’t
“over do it” in regards to midday, afternoon and early evening outdoor activities.
LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE FOR THIS SEVEN DAY FORECAST PERIOD …
– A high to very high forecast confidence today through the seven day period..
