SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) Tropical cyclone Francine is moving northeastward onshore into Louisiana. Based on the current forecast track of the system (well east of our area with us remaining on the distant drier west side), we remain dry as temperatures warm over the coming days.
(2) Rain chances suggested in earlier guidance for early next week, associated with a passing upper level low pressure disturbance, have diminished and, as a result, I am removing rain chances from my forecast.
Based on NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance, no rainfall is forecast for our IH35 corridor counties over the next seven day period.
