AUSTIN / IH35 CORRIDOR
MY SEVEN DAY WEATHER THOUGHTS
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
A mostly clear sky will continue as our next air mass change occurs tonight into Sunday as a weaker cold front pushes southeast through the area. At this point, the frontal passage looks to be dry with limited available moisture ahead of the system. A second reinforcing cold front will move southward through our area by evening Saturday and yet another one early Monday morning. Much cooler temperatures will follow the fronts as we end the weekend and head into the new week. Gusty northerly winds in combination with drought conditions will cause more critical wildfire weather conditions Sunday and Monday.
As these front wash out to our south, with sunshine continuing, we’ll see another rapid warming of afternoon high temperatures for the middle (and latter) part of next week.
MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS …
A very high confidence forecast for the next seven days.
