AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS / IH35 CORRIDOR
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Clouds will be on the increase today into tonight. With increased cloud cover, as a weak slow moving disturbance along the Texas coast develops, we’ll see some slim rain chances as early as after dark tonight with those on-and-off rain chances lingering (with the cloud cover persisting) mid into late week into the upcoming weekend. Another slightly stronger cold front will pass Wednesday night with some cooling noted with the cloud cover remaining in place Friday into the weekend.

(3) With the persistent cloud cover and some continuing rain chances in place, temperatures will warm up a little on Sunday into Monday ahead of yet another cold front due by Monday night.

Based partially on NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance, my forecast is, on average, for 0.50″ of rainfall for our IH35 corridor counties over the next seven day period.

MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A medium to high confidence forecast.
