AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS / IH35 CORRIDOR
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) The surface high pressure area overhead last few days has now moved eastward resulting in a return south southeasterly surface wind flow. This will result in warmer temperatures along with increased humidity and cloudiness. Clouds will pickup by tonight and then persist through tomorrow into early Saturday. Rain chances appear very minimal as we head into the weekend but I will include a few sprinkles for Friday night into early Saturday with the best chances east of our area as a weak cold front washes out before reaching our area. It will return northward as a warm front by Saturday afternoon and Saturday night.

(2) A partly to mostly cloudy sky will persist late Saturday through Sunday night as above average temperatures continue.

(3) Another cold front, more Pacific in nature, will move into the area late Monday with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms but, again, best chances remain to our east and northeast. Cooler and drier air will move in for Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday night.

(4) Another cold front looks to approach our area by next Wednesday.

Based partially on NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance, my forecast,
on average, is for rainfall of less than 0.25 inch for our IH35 corridor counties over the next seven day period.

MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast.
