AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS / IH35 CORRIDOR
WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…

No weather hazards expected.

AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS / IH35 CORRIDOR
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A return south southeasterly surface wind flow has resulted in warmer temperatures along with increased humidity and cloudiness. Some patchy drizzle is occurring this morning with clouds persisting through early tomorrow. Rain chances are there as we head into the weekend with the best chances east of our area as a weak cold front washes out to our north before reaching our area. It will return northward as a warm front by late tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night.

(2) A partly to mostly cloudy sky will persist midday tomorrow through Sunday night as above average temperatures continue.

(3) Another cold front, more Pacific in nature, will move into the area Monday with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms but, again, best chances remain to our east and northeast. Cooler and drier air will move in for Monday night into Tuesday and then into mid and late week with a stronger reinforcing cold front passing through our area on Wednesday.

Based partially on NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance, my forecast,
on average, is for rainfall of 0.50 to 0.75 inch for our IH35 corridor counties over the next seven day period.

MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A medium to high confidence forecast.
